Never mind UK plc, never mind the Bottom Line, never mind the BBC, David, Boris, Nigel, Gove, Hague, Hoey, Remain, Leave, in-work benefits, tariffs, stock markets, the price of barbed wire, the wattage of vacuum cleaners, the biggest single market in the world, the size of the Euro, 750 rolling-in-it MEPs, the Commission, the Council of Ministers, Picasso, Turner, El Greco, van Gogh, Beethoven, Mozart, Sibelius, Ravel, Erasmus, Wren, Galileo, Newton, Babbage, Rutherford, Watson and Crick, never mind Shakespeare, Swift, Paine, Hogarth, Banksy, never mind the Rolling Stones, Billy Connolly, Bob Geldorf, Adele, Amy Winehouse – let’s forget them all and hundreds more like them and let’s remember Napoleon, the Kaiser, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, the Holocaust, apartheid, communism, and all the bloody terrorists that infect humanity and learn from them instead.
